Is it just me or is this tread the most poplular on Blu-ray.com lol Well, as far as tv discussions go. I couldn't take it anymore... I'm starting all over again with season 1 to start piecing everything together. June 16th seems so far away.

I'm only on ep. 5 nothing that revealing that I already knew. I forgot about the flight attendent. She's MIA as well. We saw her talking to Jack in the pilot. Then one of the main crew from the tail section in season 2. She disappeared on the walk back to the other side of the island. And then we see he outside the cage with Sawyer and also later with Locke. I guess she joined the hostles. But I wouldn't be surprised if we see her again.

It also makes you wonder if the writers will answer the numbers mystery + more. They went so far to explain why Jack's father was wearing tennis shoes during season 1. < explained in season 4. So maybe we'll get lucky.

I can see this as an explanation for several things but the origin of the island would still be significant to me, unless you are saying the gods of old created it. That wheel of time room strikes me as a futuristic thing sent back in time or an ET type creation and that makes the origin of the island of interest to me.

I don't know, it was not about that theory but more of making the point that it is hard at this point to know what would be interesting/important, but let's go with that and tie it into the story? In the future(?) an evil person (?) creates some kind of time traveling (?) ship. He uses it to escape but ends up crashing it on some random island way in the past, and the wheel is part of that device (motor/control). This being passed himself as a god, but he needs stem cells (hey I had to tie into the Egyptian myth and the islands "no one can be born there" myth to the story). Now this evil god of old had taken a wife and once when he was back recharging/feeding and at his weakest she and some rebels imprisoned him and used his tech to camouflage the island.....starving and imprisoned he was powerless, but in the 70's the DI ended up making a hole in his prison and he started feeding again (which is why no children can be born on the island) but is still not strong enough to escape and his influence is limited to the island and around it ....

It's the only thing that makes sense of where they've been for the last three years. Either that or they're dead.

We see him with Frank and Sun... which will be interesting. And I'm wondering why Locke was sent to the present and not the past... And I too want to see the hostiles besides RA... like who is their leader? Is it Widmore? Is Eleanor there?

Interesting. So Jacob could be a prisoner... He does live in a cabin though... And I wonder if the leader is chosen by him... I mean it seemed evident when locke heard Jacob. Ben couldn't believe it. And I'm wondering if Richard Alpert is also trapped. I feel like he has a curse but can't tell anyone about it. So he just does what he has to. I mean he's a mystery. And Juliette knows so much but only lets on a little bit. I mean, she was a freakin other. She could know the freakin history. She might even know the importance of a whole lot of things... but then again, the beauty of the show is that the characters aren't concerned about the mythology...

I'm guessing its Widmore as he told Locke that at one point HE was their leader.

Also I believe they showed earlier in the season that Faraday was doing the extraction of the Wheel of Time in the Orchid station.

Juliette knows more than she leads on to and has clearly expressed it to the characters in the show. I forgot who she said this to, I think Sawyer (which would make sense why he wouldn't question as he isn't the brightest person on the show) but it was this comment when Sawyer asked her what Richard was doing back in time as he didn't appear to have aged at all.

"Richard? Hes always been here."

I like it, it could be a show on its own.

Christian was with Locke when he pushed the wheel of time back into its position and the producers wrote that, that scene was the furthest back in time they had ever been: before the well was dug, statue was new, etc. As an aside I liked the fact that there was a kerosene lamp in the room. Anyway it appears to me that the zombie/ghost like characters can be at any time period they want, even appear out of the immediate island zone like Christian did when he told Michael it was through with him.

I completely agree. This would explain the whispers also in a sense. Remember that lady that appeared to Juliet last season (her shrink)? There were whispers before she appeared. Also, she was there to do Ben's bidding which confuses me because Christian clearly is against Ben and also has the ability. I'll bet there's some type of device that can summon ghosts that both Jacob and Ben have access to. Time will tell.....

Anthony that is a very creative theory, the only thing I keep thinking of is, Ben has some sort of control over the smoke monster...

and yes Juilette is definetly holding something back, an I would like her to spill the beans already, there is only 3 reasons I can thing of why she not telling everyone
1. its too unbelievable right now to tell anyone (i know hard to believe)
2. she made a promise to ben for safety of here sister
3. its the real reason DI and RA care about the island (its a game changer even greater then time travel).... I think everyone is anticipating this one

So tonight is Whatever Happened Happened. This should prove that Whatever Happened Happened obviously. Which means Ben will live and everything they are doing now won't change the future because it has already happened.

I think that's why Daniel disappeared. When he realized that the timeline is set he figured he'd go with it and do whatever he wanted.

BTW, mad props to Steph for calling the Whatever Happened Happened theory.

There's still a part of me that thinks the whole "whatever happened happened" thing is going to be lame proven invalid.

You never know...it is April Fool's Day after all, and they're airing that episode with that title, while everyone in the world believes it to be true.

If they have cast somebody. To me that means somebody we don't know. If it was any of them they would already be cast, wouldn't they?
