There's nothing in the forum rules against spoilers not being tagged on this site. Just be careful from now on and try not to click on threads you think might have spoilers. I already knew about this spoiler but it's a shame everybody who's viewed this thread knows too.

I didn't ruin anything, that headline was on all tv news sites for several days. All you knew was he'd been cast, but guess what Clancy Brown had already appeared on the show before, so it's not like I revealed a character we'd never heard about. I don't know why people read articles or threads about shows and than ***** that somebody ruined it for them. There is always a chance of reading something you don't want to on the internets.

I don't know why people read about people *****ing and act disappointed and ***** about it, especially when we're talking about a show as mystery driven as Lost. At any rate, had you just put *MAJOR LOST SPOILER* in the title nothing would have been said. Also, doing a Google search on "jacob cast in lost" turned up a whopping two results that spoiled it from two obscure sites. As I said though, you have every right to post spoilers so more power to you.

The fact that Mark P had been cast to be in Lost was widely known, the part he would play was not released. The fact that he is playing a young Jacob is a spoiler.

Yeah, I said it, I've read he is cast only as a young Jacob.

He could be ageless. I ahve a feeling The Incident will show him visiting each of the O6.

I know they filmed Jin and Sun's wedding so he might be there as well.

Now the big question on everyone's mind will be WHY he is at each of those events.

Yeah that's anybody's guess and something to ponder over. Another thing, I hope there's still some unrevealed shocks in the finale, and they don't show him in all of those flashbacks and then at the very end of the episode the big reveal is that he is Jacob, because that would be super lame.

No they would have kept it a secret then that Jacob was in it. The reveal will be something bigger than Jacob. I have a gut feeling the reveal will be related to the origins of the island and not be about the survivors at all.

The producers have always said that since they "showed" and introduced Jacob that they had not yet cast him. Which would imply that he's not an existing cast member.

yea well not everyone follows everything the producers say.. i watch the show... and dont want to know things like this.... but whats done is done...

and, it could have been a few different people or possibly from a different time era.... its Lost... they could spin it anyway they want
