I enjoyed watching Hook when I was a kid. It's been awhile, so I'm not sure if I'd still feel the same way.

It's certainly not Spielberg's best, but I've loved this since I was a kid. My brother and I had every single toy from the film.

I don't know... personally I'm always annoyed when a character looks one way and the actor looks way different. If she was hot that makes up for it some but I can't remember.

It's so weird to think of this as a Spielberg film. Maybe he didn't do much in it.

Loved the movie as a kid. I watched it recently and I was very very bored. This movie has not aged well at all. I'd still buy it on blu-ray in a heartbeat.

I am so surprised by the results on this thread, the way you hear people talk about this movie I figured I was the only one liking it, glad to see others would love to see this on BD like me

Ya...I'm shocked as well to say the least. Maybe if we get enough, we can get a petition going for the Blu-ray lol. So far the poll is doing really well.

I read an essay about spielberg the other day and it said this was byt far his worst movie. I liked most of the essay but I completely disagree. I've been thinking about it the last hour or so, since my last post, and there is a lot of great stuff in it. Hoffman may have changed his mind but he plays a great HOok.

I hear the Blu-Ray release Spielberg is going to re-edit it a little.

The guns will be replaced with walkie-talkies and there will be a nuked fridge at the climax.

It'll be glorious!
