If you haven't already that is. I'm thinking you may have only for the reason it set all my speakers quite low (aside from the Rear Surrounds, which I had to turn Down - too loud I thought). I also saw something here about "Intellivolume" and thought it to be a Power Boost, when I could just have spent some time tweaking the Audio Settings a bit. For me, I have all my speakers (Front, Center, Rears, Sub) at 80hz, and the fronts at +3 or 4db, Center at +7, Rears at +5 I think, and the Sub at 0. For ME, this seems to work right now. For you, it might not: different speakers, room dimensions, furniture, drapes, etc. All of which contribute to how a room might sound good or like crap.
Experiment. Re-do Audyssey if you haven't already. Hopefully you will get a sound that works For YOU, w/out using Intellivolume cranked at Full. ![]() Anyone else feel free to jump in. ![]() |
