Yup thats life. If it's any consolation, I have found Paramount to have some of the worst quality blu rays until recently with Shooter and Disturbia.

I jumped and ordered 6 titles when I heard the news on Monday, and even then I just managed to get my hands on the Mission Impossible box set from newegg as it was sold out moments later.

listen to us "hurry up" and "sold out" paramount is dumb as shit for dropping blu. I'm going to take my chances on sept 18th of some of them being available.

and for those who can wait, 18 months is nothing

I don't think para is going to do this permanently, there is no way the other format can last that long to keep them in place

I just ordered untouchables for my dad as I already have it. I ordered shooter too. I ordered shooter and disturbia (used) without seeing either of them. hope they're good. otherwise expect a paramount titles ft thread on here. I might order flags of our father and letter from iwo jima for him too. xmas presents. I plan ahead.

warner should go blu, maybe then hd dvd sales number on their titles will get clost to blu ray's.

question that you might not be able to answer...and thats okay:

do used third party purchases on amazon count towards their sales rankings or is it based on direct amazon orders?

No. They will not count, since they were already counted when they originally sold (New).
