Default Most Frustrating Video Game ever!

Mario Kart for Wii, without a doubt... Nothing worse than running 2.5 flawless laps and then getting hit by 2 blueshells, a few redshells, a star, a bullet and finishing in 12th!

That is pretty frustrating. Happens a lot. It lets the 12th place guy get into 3rd place in a heartbeat. LOL.

Pitfall II for the Atari.

Hard on the head, but at least it had an ending I guess. Unheard of back then.

Well at least its not so annoying that if you run behind in last, you get the bullet guy to help you.

I heard that many people have had problems trying to beat Radic on elite in Killzone 2. Although I haven't gotten to him yet, I'm pretty sure I'll have problems myself when facing against him.

Never played Mario Kart for the Wii, but i would say any Mega Man 1-9 is equally or if not more frustrating.

It did have an ending? I thought you just did one giant loop and come across some standing animal that when you touch it your guy goes in to permanent seizure.... or from there you could go to the right and jump over a rat thing it pushes you back to a spot near the beginning? Still have that music in my head whenever it gets mentioned.

Don't get me started on MKWii! "They" do that so the game is more equaled-out and the superstud Karters don't dominate, like they did in the SNES and N64 versions of the game in particular. They went to this equalization method most glaringly in the MKDS version where the better you are, the more likely you are to get slammed by a catastrophic weapon. So, the more you play and the better you get, the more you will have to get used to it.

Once you get past that anger, you'll be able to get a ranking like this.

One-hundred percent wheel usage, two-star ranking, everything unlocked except the second Mii suit.

gotta be an old NES game called "deadly towers" it's one of those games that if you die, you gotta start all the way at the beginning!!!!! and if you get lost in the dungeons, you're pretty much......lost! until you die then you start at the beginning again!

but personally i like mario party wii. it's fun as hell!

This is probably why I never played double dash & N64 is still my favorite. I probably would just give up on MK for Wii if it wasn't such a good/fun game

Even though I'm not much of a fan of the Zelda games, I remember the Ocarina of time was pretty frustrating too, It took FOREVER to run/ride alll over the map..

Awww, c'mon. None of this is close to E.T. for the Atari, or Ninja Gaiden for the NES.

I've got that, but I don't use the wheel. The never-ending barrage of blue shells has moved past angering and into comical territory for me now.

I know the most frustrating (part) ever was the crawling in mgs4 at the end I had to do that so many times my finger was about to fall off.

I've never not played with the wheel. At times I've been very tempted to go with the remote style because I know there are some levels where my time trial times would greatly benefit with the remote and motorcycle combination. I just need to pass a few levels in time trials with better times to get that illusive three-star ranking. I'd love to do that only using the wheel! (because it is harder)

Whenever I go online (which is rare these days with my crazy schedule) and I see someone with two stars (or three), it is very rarely with the wheel icon. Even in that case, I doubt they attained that ranking using the wheel 100% of the time. You only need 51% wheel usage to have a gold wheel icon so it can be misleading.

I loved Rygar! That's one that I pick up every now and again via emulator on my HTPC.

NHL '08. I broke a controller because I was pretty pissed off. (I was up by three in the third and the comp scored 5 goals on six shots and my goaltender was Broduer.) I truly hate the E.A hockey games now, they look great but the gameplay is so sim now I don't find it fun.

NHL '06 is the best of hockey games

Mortal Kombat 4 seemed to cause a lot of controllers to break... on the hardest setting and getting killed by Goro or one of the almost very top guys after beating the other 20... after the 10th time or so I started throwing things.

My brother has been complaining to me about MK Wii, I haven't had as much of a problem I guess.
