The BTTF trilogy has been delisted from Netflix US as of the first of August.
No idea if the trilogy is still available anywhere else.

What’s the deal with studios putting discs in sleeves when they know people who are going to buy these sets hate them. Plus they scratch the disc's.

Blu-ray Discs have a scratch resistant coating. Good against light scratches, not deep scars. If the sleeve packaging wasn’t good for Blu-ray discs, they would’ve stopped using them after people complained the first time. Just like with the experimental packaging for the first Back to the Future blu-ray set.

Sleeves raise the chances of scratching discs. Period. There's a reason the vast majority of releases use standard hubs and not sleeves.

And obviously many people hate them. So why use them?

Well the price difference is now large for me to justify the disc sleeves (25 cheaper than steelbooks, worth the risk to me)
