I dunno. He directed a solid movie back in 2016.

Bay's definitely been more miss than hit within the last decade, that's for sure.

Not gonna lie, I got about 10 minutes into Six Underground before I had to turn it off. Not a fan of the guy.

Bruceploitation is underrated , sometimes i find the films more entertaining that non-imitator films once you get over the "Lee imitator , yuck !" phase :

"John Liu in Paris" vs "Ninja strikes back"....gimme NSB any day , okay its a bit hokey sometimes but i find it genuinly entertaining and great use of locations and Le/HJL has good chemistry as friends and decent climax (theres barely any ninja scenes in it though but doesnt bother me much , they couldve had more Bolo though)

NSB is among Bruce Le's best movies imo , either that or "Enter Game of Death".

"Bruce and shaolin kung fu" is also pretty good (co-starring Chen Sing)

The Evil dead movies are crap.

Hacksaw Ridge looks and feels cheap. Hugely overrated.

Jupiter Ascending > Matrix Reloaded

Both are the only Wachowski films I don't outright love. But of the two JA feels just a tad breezier which puts it just above Reloaded for me.
