Yes. The whole cast was contracted for both movies, which were filmed back to back.

And best version seems to go to packaging/case type, so would be a personal preference.

Ya she was in Part III at the very end when Marty gets back to 1985. She is with Marty by the train tracks when Doc comes back in his steam train and introduces them to his two kids.

But I like the SteelBooks more, so I don't care to pay 15 $CAN extra for those .

I would just buy the first one if I could, much like the MIB movies.

Actually, Wonder Woman is from the late '70s, so a bit older than BTTF.

I think the problem with three is that I think the audience wanted a bit more time settings. I know we have 55, 85 and 1885 but it's mostly all the latter.

I mean they could have gone down the route of Doc not being born and had a major paradox they would need to get themselves out of.

The different settings would have ruined it. One of the things about BTTF is to show the evolution of both people and places. So there is the factor of recognition "oh, that's how this looked back then and how it could look in the future."

I mean, the majority of the first film is set in 1955, and nobody complained.

That’s funny I remember quite the opposite about part II, it didn’t explore 2015 enough & then shifted to 1985 alternate & then 1955. Not only was it much darker in tone but everyone expected a lot more 2015 cuz that’s what was advertised. I guess budget reasons but I know Zemeckis wanted more 2015.

Now about part 3, over the years it became my 2nd favorite one & I’m not even big on westerns. I like how it’s essentially Doc Brown’s film & he got a love interest. Marty’s character also grew to become more responsible & he even encourages Doc in returning back to 1985. Yes I know he ends up staying in 1885 with Claire. I just feel 3 is a fun enjoyable movie, don’t get the hate it gets at all.

Before I bite the bullet on this, it is confirmed that the Standard BD's have the 4K Remaster correct? It's been way too long since I've seen any of these..

Would be very unlikely for it not too as a remastered Blu-ray set is also being released.

Two sets are being released. A Blu-ray set and a UHD set. Both sets are remastered 4K presentations. The UHD set should include the remastered Blu's as well.

Same as what Indiana Jones said.

This is the only trilogy -- Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Dark Knight, The Godfather, etc. -- which has not been available for individual release. It literally makes no sense, plus it coupled with awful standard packaging.

Just feels inconsistent with the other two movies without it.
I think it would be good to keep the modification. Like how Quantum Leap fixed the leaps into re-runs at the end of the episode in syndication (good!), but on the Blu-ray it's wrong again, even though that's respecting the way it originally aired.

Guess Universal don’t see any point in releasing the films individually in the US but they have certainly been made available individually elsewhere in the world.
