I'm so sad I missed out on Men At Work bluray DF. I completely missed the lead up to going OOP. What a fun movie. My DVD is precious now...

FYI the Men at Work German release is cheap and region A/B compatible.

There have been a few that I've been looking for but that aren't available. Volcano with Tommy Lee Jones and The Core with Aaron Eckhart (both of these were released on Blu-ray but now they're OOP); Category 6 (found it hilarious that Category 7 (the sequel to C6) was released to Blu-ray but Category 6 was passed over.

It is getting a German release on 9/18: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Licen...lu-ray/274683/ but whether or not it will be all that English-friendly remains to be seen.

With Disney now owning the movie, it's probably doubtful the US will get a re-release anytime soon either.

I do own the OOP Blu-ray, but also kept the older DVD for all the bonus features that weren't ported over to the Blu.

yeah Volcano is hard to find, all I've seen for months is a used copy they asking some insane price for on Amazon

Cover says "Daddy's Cadillac", which I guess is the localized title? Weird, since it was granddad's Cadillac. I own the US Blu-ray as well, this movie is a fun nostalgia ride, but probably has limited appeal if you caught up with it later.

Yeah, a lot of German Blu-rays use a localized title like that. It also may even have that altered "title" inserted at the beginning of the film in place of the original...not sure, but some do.

As mentioned before, Daddy did not have a Cadillac. He had a Mercedes..... which did not fare well when Granddaddy got ahold of it.

Reviewers get sent far more stuff than they can reasonably handle. So most long-time reviewers end up with a back-log of discs that aren't considered priorities for review.

I kicked myself a couple of weeks ago for missing one that sold for $5. I missed it by 15 minutes. I do have the German region B locked edition though.

Ditto. I expected brisk sales, but not this brisk. Glad I didn't waffle about it for too long.

Bull Moose is now showing it as "available in store only", with only three stores having copies (Scarborough, Mill Creek, and Portland, for those of you in that area).

The list of Shout/Scream titles going OOP is growing dang near day by day now, with tons already gone from their site and varying for other retailers. Here's a link, stuff at the bottom in grey is gone, others are still available. Some of those say sold out, but if they don;t go grey and have a date if you click, they'll get more. I've been doing this all summer and had a few sold out come back and got em, but none have gone from grey to not grey. Grey is dead.
