Still, I agree, get the ones you want asap.
Prices on Amazon are currently absurd at over $40.00 from third party sellers so it maybe out of print.

Interesting that with almost every MGM title going OOP, The Burning has managed to evade the chopping block. I wonder if they plan to revisit this one as a steelbook with a new transfer, like with the MGM titles Pumpkinhead and Motel Hell.

They're not greyed out yet so more should be coming.

I don't care about the steelbooks but I'd be all in for that one if it gets the 4K remastered treatment.

I also love those cool Universal Horror Collection sets, Number 6 will be out next week I sure hope a 7th will be on it's way although the Universal catalog is thinning out
I totally forgot about those. I haven't picked up any of those yet.

Of the recently announced titles that are going out of print, there are quite a few that I don't own. So I decided to place an order for the following:

I Bury the Living
The Screaming Skull
The Vampire
The Four Skulls of Jonathan Drake
The Brain that Wouldn't Die
Contamination.7

I don't know much about them, but I've been going through Scream Factory's back catalog lately and finding some gems I had overlooked in the past. So hopefully these are enjoyable. I do expect Contamination.7 to be all sorts of bad, though, considering it's from the creators of Troll 2 -- but if it's anywhere near as entertaining as Troll 2, I'm sure it'll be worth it.

Other titles that were announced as going out of print that I already have in my collection but highly recommend picking up before they're gone for good are:

The Beast Within:
This is a great 80s monster movie with some really good special effects. When Scream Factory first started releasing titles each month, particularly from MGM's catalog, this was one title I wanted them to release.

The House That Screamed:
I had skipped out on this one when it was first announced because I had never heard of it. I recently bought this title and enjoyed it quite a bit. It includes both the theatrical and uncut versions, although the uncut version has SD inserts.

The Return of Count Yorga:
Both Count Yorga movies are worth owning and great early 70s vampire films. I recently bought both this and the original film after putting them off for years. A few weeks ago, I got interested in seeing some of the vampire movies from the early 70s, and I saw that Screen Archives had a copy of the original film available. I bought it, unaware that it had been out of print for a few months, along with its sequel. When they came in, I watched both back to back.

The Vagrant:
Highly enjoyable early 90s horror film starring Bill Paxton.

X-Ray/Schizoid (Double Feature):
I appreciate the double features that Scream Factory has released, and I thought that X-Ray was a great, although cheesy, 80s slasher flick.

I'm guessing these were really good sellers for Scream. It would be great if the Burning got a new 4k remaster. I'd order that day one.

At some point, I'd like to see all the Hammer films rounded up into a box set. I don't think there's been a Blu box of any kind for Hammer, but I could be wrong. The only box I can think of is the 21 disc StudioCanal DVD box, which I still have and is a great package with lots of extras, but nothing upgraded since then.

Would Scream ever do "My Mom's a Werewolf" from Crown International/Lionsgate?

Hey question for you all. I just received my Universal Horror Volume 6 set today direct from Shout! It arrived in perfect condition...but then upon inspection I noticed that my disc 2 (Cult Of The Cobra) was pretty scratched up on the bottom. The scratches are light (so they don't show up when I try to take a picture) but they are pretty evident to the naked eye.

Up until now I've ordered mostly through Amazon...but due to their poor shipping practices and other reasons I'm trying to order more either direct or through boutiques.

This is the first time I've gotten something slightly damaged from Shout Direct. I sent them an email (which I'm sure they won't get until Monday now) explaining the situation. So, here's the question(s)...how is Shout Factory with returns/replacements?? Will they send me a replacement disc or will they send a whole new set? Will they even take my concern seriously or will they blow me off? Will I have to send my set back before they send the new one or vice versa?

Let me know

Wipe that disc off with a soft cloth and I bet they come right off. I've gotten many blu-rays that looked like they were scratched from being lose in the case, but when I wiped them off the scratch/scuff was gone and disc worked perfectly.

I don't think Lionsgate has any rights to that title.

I can't really see it happening through Scream Factory unless they had the opportunity to buy most of the entire Crown catalog, in perpetuity, ala Corman.
