I've read/heard so many people say negative things about the rape scene. Why is it acceptable to watch a woman get slaughtered, but it's offensive to show a woman be forced to have sex?

I am looking forward to this. There won't be any Ken Foree though. Since he got killed in the first one.

I agree. i am not condoning rape, but people get all excited when people get killed in movies like Friday the 13th, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm etc. but rape is even more taboo. Makes no sense. They are both bad.

I've seen a lot of movies but for your sake, I'm assuming you've watched more films than me but only for your narrow & judgmental mind. I watch movies for entertainment unlike some people:Hint:. Obviously, everyone is entitled to their own opinion in these forums.

Haven't you noticed by now, there is Obviously one person +1 more who come to every Rob Zombie thread just to make sure you know they hate him.

I myself am very looking forward to this, as I don't enjoy the same thing over and over and over, like the 17 Saw movies, "Ooooh torture is so fun, yuck Rape is bad! That woman was raped and that is horrible, they should have just pulled all of her teeth out, cut her tendons and skinned her alive, because than i wouldn't have gotten offended by this horrible trash!"

BTW, Zombie's Halloween is the highest grossing in the franchise and also had the biggest opening. Yes, it opened in August to $26.3 Million so obviously the moron in the marketing campaign knows what he's doing.

I like the older halloweens better...But probably because they were originals...Usually i only like remakes if i never seen the originals.

I really dont like rob zombies movies...house of 1000 corpses had some interesting parts...but some parts were just plain dumb IMO and messed the film up for me. (like when the chick is having sex with a skeleton..and the guy they made half man half fish wtf?)

But hey everything and everyone that makes something has fans and followings.

Oh I wonder if the fact that movie prices are quite a bit more expensive then they were back in 1978, you know the one actually done by John Carpenter has anything to do with that.

She will be in a dream sequence, along with the child version of Michael. Supposedly this movie is more about Laurie and what she goes through in the aftermath of the first one. This will be a very different Halloween for sure and I'm definitely interested.

At least Busta Rhymes isn't in it.

The only problem I had with the remake was Daeg Faerch who played little Mikey, I was happy to hear he's grown too much and they recast the role for this.

`Well the gas station/freakshow that Captain Spaulding owns had many weird stuffed animal things in there. So you could say that it was an extension of that?
