I just watched this with my wife and we both thought the first story with George Romero, was really creepy.

The second story was unwatchable. Animal cruelty is disgusting. Turned it off half way through. I may not like cats, but wanting to watch someone torture one (even in a movie), crosses the line.

You should check out Cannibal Holocaust. No cats but a turtle and some other small animals. I also come with the animal cruelty free version.

Make sure to avoid Cannibal Holocaust then. Real animal cruelty and really upsetting.

Oh, so it's ok to watch people get beaten, tortured and murdered, but not animals?

But if someone is harming a person, you're unaffected?

Color me confused.

EDIT: lol... I guess I'm debating a year-old point. Ooops.

im with you even if its a year late. its just a movie. Argento is known for being an huge animal lover and vegetarian so its kind of ironic that people are so turned off by the animal abuse in this movie. its a reoccurring theme in his films but the perpetrator usually doesnt survive the flick.

I have the same confusion with people that complain about the rape scene in Zombie's Halloween. A woman being butchered is okay, just don't force her to have sex.
