Blu Ray, but I can't complain as I have the UHD and wanted the other Hitchcocks in the set anyways.

Damn it. Never read the review. Should I call them to cancel the order?

I put in an order for Jurassic Park/World 5 movie set.
When I checked out, it was in stock.
There was an issue with my card and I had to put a different one on.
Now it says out of stock on my order page.
I wonder what is going to happen to it...

Ahh, I remember a similar issue happening on FoxStore.com (which doesn't even exist with that URL anymore) in the late 90s with Doctor Who videos. A standard, single-VHS release was normally $20, with double-VHS packs running $30-40, but due to some pricing error, they were all showing up for $1-5 each. An amazing deal!!! I was very early in building my Doctor Who collection at that time, so I (and many others from the rec.arts.drwho newsgroup) jumped on it. Unfortunately, the orders for many folks got canceled, but some went through, including mine. I was BEYOND ecstatic when I came home a week or two later to find two big boxes of VHS tapes waiting for me. Hope these Gruv orders go through, too!

If they cancel orders the paragraph at the bottom of the website that reads "Welcome to GRUV. It’s yours. You own it," is mocking.

Oh man, missed out on the deals this morning and only got BTTF Saturday night/ Sunday morning on eBay. Will Gruv have another sale like this? Maybe on Black Friday?

It is mostly likely a price mistake and not a sale. I have been a Gruv.com customer since earlier year and did not receive any email regarding these flash "sale."

It was definitely not a sale... They either don't know how to make prices adjust properly or are just being careless about how they are doing it. It might not even happen again or it might happen the next time they mark something down

Only have one of my orders sent to the warehouse. I think it's because I had other 4ks in my cart that I bought with the Fast and Furious set.

Hope I don't end up getting just the 4ks that weren't part of these pricing errors.

I haven’t received any cancellation notice on my BTTF eBay order yet and it has been over a day since placing the order. Hoping this is a good sign that they will ship upon release.

My theory was the worst that happens is they cancel and refund.

So your contention is that this 7 disc BD + UHD set costs Universal less than $5 to make (direct costs and I'm sure I'm missing several layers) -- disc, packaging, license fees, residual fees, warehousing/distribution, mastering/encoding/replication,

I figure the other $5 will go to Ebay, Paypal, and shipping costs at least for Ebay items

Plus you think there's no way they could sell these for $20-25 after release -- opportunity cost esp for that many hundred/couple thousand of those 4000+ people that bought on Ebay and GRUV would have paid $25 now vs $10? That's not even counting the folks who had $40-50+orders already in that likely cancelled those regular price preorder

now this is odd
I logged into my gruv account and on the first order I clicked on which was the house series, it had a green button that users could click on to cancel the order

the back to the future order didn't have the cancel order button

Still not as good as a glitch on Amazon Canada a few years back during a BOGO sale where they applied double discounts to the whole order and the more blu-rays you ordered, the further the overall price went down. Many people wound up with dozens of movies for literally pennies, some even for free.

Same.

Oh, well - at least I got in on the BTTF deal. You win some, you lose some.

Unless my BTTF deal order gets canceled. Then I won.... err, well, I haven't been struck dead by a meteor today, so there's that.

Yeah I got the BTTF deal, but I'm bummed to have missed out on the Jurassic set deal, mostly because I want to upgrade my digital copies to 4K, and $7.50 for all 5 films would be a steal for just that, but then having the actual UHD discs would be a cherry-on-top bonus. Oh well!

One thing's for sure, if Gruv wanted to make itself known to more enthusiasts, they've certainly been able to do that the last few days! haha
