3 was horrible on blu and the main reason I'm getting this one to see if it's color gets fixed. Going to cancel and wait till I can see some fleshtone comparisons.

Sold the Blues recently. I am not a fan of parts 2 and 3 and not sure how they are meant to look but part 3 has this slight pale yellow tint almost throughout. Do get it's an western setting but its there a bit on the present scenes too towards the end.

A shame this is a digibook. I don’t like the packaging of the blu ray set I own and this looks about the same

I thought the regular version had paper pockets that could scratch the discs. That's why I went with the steelbook set.

That is correct, due to it being Book like packaging some call it a digibook but to me that is the type which actually has pages with a tray at the front and/or back.

each movie in its own case inside a slipbox would’ve been more use friendly

The steelbooks don’t look that great. And the digibook’s pages - their insides are glossy, that combined with the disc tough anti-scratch coating should render the discs scratch free. All you have to do is wipe the finger prints off, no big deal. I swear, people are getting lazy and lazier by the years. Most of us are going to be jelly by 2040!
