For starters, making new music hasn't been an important part of the music industry for many years. Too many people steal it so it's just not worth it. Maiden still make them and many people, like myself, buy them. As far as touring goes, nobody's touring right now. Bands will get back on the road when it's safe to do so.

I keep forgetting to get Alex Skolnick's book. I keep hearing great things.

They’re one of the most consistent metal bands out there, possible THE most consistent. TBOS is great.

And they’ll be touring again in no time. They’re incredible live.

Absolutely. I saw Maiden at the O2 in summer 2018, an incredible sold out show, totally phenomenal. The band have had their high's and lows, with perhaps the early years of Blaze Bailey being that period, but since they came back bigger and better with Brave New World in 2000 they have never disappointed. Rumours have suggested the band actually recorded a new album in 2019, but the Legacy tour and Covid19 put a spanner in the works.
