I will put Prices of the two plasmas I'am looking at remember that thoses prices are from Canada.

OK so which one you guy's would suggest me and why, please elaborate.

the PN58A550 from Samsung at (2999.00$) the TH58PZ800 from Panny at (3999.00$)

That's a huge difference in price. For my money that would be the deciding factor. I know Panny's are highly rated, but the Sammy's are great as well. I'd go with the Sammy because of the diff in price.

if the panny your talking about is the 800U, then thats a high price for that tv. keep looking around..

That's a great Panny. Can't comment on the value your putting out because its in Loonies.

%-age wise, for 33% more you'll be getting better blacks. I *personally* don't think that's worth $1000 more.

I dont know actually. Just noticed about Canada. Id give a call because that tv usually is selling for around that price now. Im sure you can find a place that will ship to Canada..

Yep that is the 800U but I'm from Canada and prices are a bit higher here

yes i see. I wonder if you could buy it from somewhere and pay a seperate shipper to pickup and drop it to you. probably would save you some cash.

I never did like Samsung. I had a lot of bad luck with everything I have ever owned Samsung. (TV, cell phones.). So my vote is Panny. Shop around I am sure you can find it cheaper.

They're a lot higher! I get Panasonic equipment at cost and it's still substantially higher than most US internet retailers.
