Despicable Me (Re-watch)

I have seen this a bunch of times. But never in theaters. Saw so this today at Regal. Figured might as well see movies while i can. Because studios are running away with their tails between their legs. Looking ad you Mr. Bond.

But I was laughing quite a bit at this. Even though I seen it already Some adult jokes or things kids wouldn't get. But parents do.

Plus I know you all love them. This was the first film to introduce the Minions.

Looks and sounds great in IMAX.

It was filmed with IMAX cameras and the picture fills the entire screen.

The Kid Detective (2020)

3.5/5 - Better than I thought it would be. It's much more than just your typical throwaway comedy.

It has a darker dry humor neo-noir vibe going for it. Plenty of rewatch potential too.

Huge surprise. Only 1 jump scare. Nothing like the trailer. Reminded me of Suspiria with how crazy it gets as it goes along.

I never thought I'd get the chance to see this in theaters. I came around to it after blind buying it on Blu-ray, but luckily, Legion M/Spectrevision brought it back into theaters for its 2-year anniversary. I went to the only showing at the only theater in my state that was screening it, and it was a blast. It looked and sounded so incredible, and I couldn't stop smiling. I went decked out with my Mandy mask, wearing my jean jacket with Mandy patches, driving in my car fittingly named Mandy. I even talked to the staff afterwards and they let me grab a few extra boxes of Cheddar Goblin!
