Marty squaring up to Griff, the background is rendered with more clarity on UHD and again it just loses that video-like look in general, it's more naturally filmic

Yep, those two are always poking their saucer-sections where they don't belong

MoviesAnywhere. That way you’ll be guaranteed a UHD copy anywhere as long they carry it or whenever they get around to carrying in UHD.

Default So here's what I did with my included Hoverboard

Got the "Back to the Future 35th Anniversary Trilogy Giftset 4K UHD" today, so I made this very amateurish short to pass the time while the media copied.

They are UHD on VUDU, but I've been burned with codes not redeeming right through VUDU. I used Movies Anywhere.

Great write-up Geoff.
Like that you spoke of the touchdown in 2015 before Marty walks into the square. I just couldn’t believe what I was seeing. For some reason my expectations were lower for the presentation of the sequels, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. For the most part all three have been treated with the TLC they deserve. Unlike that dinosaur trilogy in Universal’s locker. Seeing Cundey’s photography look as good as this makes the treatment 93’s Jurassic Park got all the more unforgivable. I mean we all kind of gave that a ‘it’s better’ pass a couple of years back, but these Future movies have really embarrassed their work on that movie.

Looking forward to Part III where I’m anticipating ‘amazing’ in block capitals at least twice

Thank you Amazon, for sending this in a flimsy paper envelope and destroying it. Replacement on the way but won't arrive for 10 days. I'm very disappointed, all I wanted to do tonight was watch this!

Same here, in a standard cheap bubble mailer. 1 corner crushed, going to just deal with it. I guess the packers assume it’s sized like a standard blu ray case so no extra protection necessary.

That is why it is the case of
Jurassic Park trilogy is strange and unfortunate, considering the incredible remastering work that Universal does with its classics in UHD (let's remember: Jaws, Scarface, Casino and American Gangster; Schindler's List, The Mummy and now the trilogy of Back to the Future). So I am hopeful that on their own initiative or at the request of the fans they will re-launch Jurassic Park with the quality standards it deserves.

Hah, not like that. I make backups of my media to my home server, so I can view them without the hassle of a disc player. Straight to the content, no menus, intros, forced commercials, etc.

But occasionally I'll spin one up in the X800M2.

I don’t know if anyone tested the code since Vudu added the UHD option to buy a couple hours ago, but so far the 4k sheet still says not to redeem in Vudu for 4k, redeem in MA for 4K.

Me: I'm gonna wait to buy Back to the Future on 4k, I did just make two purchases at the Criterion sale.

Me in Target: Oh look it's Back to the Future. Oh, the box isn't dinged. Oh it doesn't fit back in the stand, I guess I'll have to buy it.

Long story short. I'm weak. But I'm weak with Back to the Future in 4k!

The same thing happened to mine, it was sent in a pouch and was crushed in on the top right corner. Thankfully the contents were fine, but I still requested a replacement, and specified that it be sent in a box this time.

The first movie looks awesome. Gonna wait for tomorrow for part 2 and end the trilogy this weekend.
