For the first time ever I had to use the power button to reset my Oppo 203, haven't watched part III yet.
After you reset it, did it fix the issue?

I watched on my Xbox S and I had stuttering during the future scene when Old steals the Deloreon. It was only two tiny stutters but it repeated in exactly the same spot when we rewound it.

Not every single scene is a vast improvement over the old Blu-ray (which I watched in August before remembering the 4K version was due soon), but taken as a whole, there's no comparison. The old disc was fine on a 42 inch TV in 2011, but on my two larger screens in 2020, it reminded me of a widescreen VHS. Can't wait to dive back into these once 31-days-of-horror season is over.
2011 blu looks like a videogame on any tv.

They'll release something for the 40th anniversary. Same discs just different packaging.

They still have Marty camcorder edition, Einstein dog bowl edition, clocktower edition, and at some point Eric Stoltz definitive 12k 88mph edition!!!

Is the only difference between the Ultimate Trilogy Edition and the 35th Anniversary Trilogy Giftset the addition of the hoverboard?

Having a lot of breakup, freezing, and stuttering problems with the first 4K disc, starting around when Marty is having dinner with Lorraine's family. The disc is clean, no scratches. I haven't checked the other two movies yet. Major disappointment!

Looks like my GRUV eBay order shipped! So I might be getting both orders after all. Better late then never.

Just ordered the trilogy steelbooks from Best Buy. I'm not really a fan of the cardboard disc sleeves of the standard and hoverboard editions. I brought the mummy 4k trilogy about 2 years ago and literally the discs kept sliding out the cardboard sleeves when you turn the case slightly while completely falling out when you turn it upside-down.

Turns out it was a finger smudge on the edge of the disc, I wiped off the area where I had to touch just to get it out of the cardboard sleeve and that did the trick, no more glitching on BTTF Part II, so you might want to give it a try.

I didn't know 4K discs were that sensitive that a finger smudge would cause playback issues.
