It's a fair point, there are those of us who are good with playing some stuff on release and not waiting. I'm not one of those with this game, but I'm not going to dissuade others. Practically everything drops down in price eventually, not just Ubisoft.

Oh I agree. Games do eventually drop in price, however Ubisoft titles seem to be the exception and drop the quickest.

Valhalla and this are $49.99 for pre-order. Ubisoft puts their games on sale before they even release now

I like what I am hearing about the game but I stick to what I said before that I am absolutely one of the no way I buy a Ubisoft game near release people. This will be $35 within several months and I’ll have enough to keep my busy during that time.

Technically you could say the same about Cyberpunk, which is $50 from at least a couple of places. Games like that one and Ubisoft titles being that are because of Wal-Mart offering them for cheaper, so Amazon matches accordingly. The only other places you can technically get Ubisoft titles that cheap are from Best Buy if you factor in the $10 reward certificate you get for pre-ordering Assassin's Creed Valhalla. So, basically technically Ubisoft titles are still the usual $60 at most retailers.

I will likely buy this or Assassin's Creed Valhalla at release. The other will wait for a sale. I've liked what I've seen from this for a while now, but I don't have time to play both, so there's no reason for me to get both right away of course.

So far, the feedback from those who played this for four hours or so is positive, as they say they weren't into the game at first, but after playing, found Fenyx Rising to be a fun game so far, with a lot of adventure hours to complete it.

This game came out of nowhere, but it's good to see a lighter tone game being offered for open world, even though I normally like a more realistic open world game.

If the comments are anything to go by, a DLC trailer appearing before the game has launched seems to have got quite a way up people's noses.
