That happened to me when I ordered the Harry Potter 4K steelbook box set from Best Buy. I canceled it when the pre-order price never came down. I got the cancelation e-mail, no charge was made, and when I came home from work the Friday after release, there was a box waiting for me.

I opened it and there was the steelbook set in all its glory. I waited a couple of weeks to see if I would get charged, nothing happened, and I was the owner of a free set!

I wouldn't keep it. Getting a free set extra fries with a meal is one thing (especially if I make it all the way home), but straight up taking a huge box set? You know it was a mistake and someone could have been fired for it.

I can't see bragging about it in public, but that is just silly me.
