I guess I should have ordered the two copies in separate purchases.

Wasn't looking to resell, I just figured I'd get a scratched up copy.


I ended up ordering at regular going price, and lucked out. No dented up box, no scratched discs. First try.

Four times the price, but no potential hassle.

Did you ask if they are ever going to ship orders from their own damn website?

Not a good look for your own store the when you haven't shipped orders that were placed several days before the eBay orders.

That's what it was about. The warehouse is getting a new shipment on the 16th.

Just like other websites...
Stores get them first from distribution centers. Then store websites
Then eBay
Then studio websites. Those are more rare, they get last.

Probably due to eBay's stricter policies than their own site.

Some Gruv orders have shipped, but they probably have to met demands of eBay policy (especially since they don’t allow preorders) and have had the outstanding orders since September 26th.

Thanks for the info. If you are like me, I have lots of other discs asking me to pick them from the unopened pile. I can wait, no big deal

FWIW I've had trouble getting the steelbook copies with 'safer' storage to play but the 'dreaded' sleeves copies play fine for me and I've seen quite a few complaints about bad pressings for the non-sleeves copies in US versions at least....

I played the first two on a Sony X1000ES and the third one on a Panasonic 9000 and got flawless playback from all 3 discs including all the bonus material.

Also got mine for the $10 price. Top of box was a little smooshed but $10 for 3 4K discs who can complain.

Contact them.

Mine was just festering. I contacted them. They had me cancel it and place a new order, and they even gave a 10% discount (or something like that). Of course, I ended up returning it when the Gruv order came through, but if you're waiting for it to ship, it may not. Something seems off in their system. A quick chat should solve it.

Gruv suck balls. I ended up cancelling my bttf order. I also got five steelbooks from them and they all came damaged with dings, dents, and scratches. I know it was damaged before they shipped. I can tell. These where mishandled steelbooks. I don't think I'll ever order anything from them again. Only maybe if they have a pricing error again lol. Besides that, I'm 99% done with gruv

Target did the same for me, though they reserved a copy for me to pick up in-store, with a 15% discount IIRC. Finally got that on the 3rd time I called. The previous two times I called they weren't helpful.
