Cool The Comancheros Digibook Error

Has anyone else noticed that the photo on page 4 of the digibook for The Comancheros is incorrect? The picture is from the movie North to Alaska, not The Comancheros. Just sayin'.....seems to be poor oversight for whoever picked the photos for the digibook.

most likely there was a batch of photos and since the person working on it hadn't seen any of the films he didn't recognize the error.
being one of the only other Fox Wayne films, it makes sense that the pic is from North To Alaska.

Anyone notice the HD footage of The Big Trail from the documentary The Duke at Fox. Now that has me interested.

love the digibook presentation. the colors on this bd are outstanding, but i found the movie to be just meh. it was kinda confused. is it a western? borderline cops and robbers. mega hottie in this though!

Ah, time for me to order this. One of Wayne's most enjoyable westerns, the best Elmer Bernstein western score, & what a great cameo from Lee Marvin.

Great price, esp. for a digibook. I picked this up awhile ago and wrote a short review in the user reviews. Of John Wayne's later movies (1960's on), this is one of the better ones, and it has Lee Marvin -- what more can one want. Great score too.

One of my favorite westerns. I watched my digibook Blu-ray of it -- again -- just a few weeks ago. Great photography, and rousing score. It has problems with period authenticity, and cliche movie "Indians," but what's good about it is old-fashioned entertaining story telling. And Ina Balin was quite lovely. Too bad Lee Marvin wasn't in more of it because he damn near steals the movie.

I have the Digibook as well. I try not to over analyze movies too much, I used to and it really detracted from my enjoyment. I just enjoy them for what they are.

Have just bought this as I’ve been getting into John Wayne films after watching Big Jake on YT. Its a blind buy but I’m sure I’ll enjoy it. I now have 12 of his films on Blu-ray. As I get older I appreciate the older films more and more.

It's a thoroughly enjoyable mostly lighthearted romp with everyone clearly enjoying themselves.

The chemistry between the three leads is where this movie really excels.

Keep an eye out for Duke's son Patrick Wayne is a smallish role, Lee Marvin nearly stealing the movie in his one major scene, and Jack Elam in a bit role as a henchman near the end.

Also of interest this Michael Curtiz's (Adventures of Robin Hood, Casablanca) final directorial effort. Duke stepped in to complete the picture when Curtiz became too ill from cancer to continue.
