nothing is as big as pirates. I love the pirates movies soo much fun and soo amusing. Can't wait for the 3rd. Doesn't it come out later this year or something?

Didn't you think Pirates II could have been 30 minutes shorter?

I did. And I know which bits I'd cut too lol.

ANyone else notice that the Kraken could have smashed Jack's ship in 1 sec flat like that ship at the beginning, but it took its time for some reason? lol

All the same, best special effects in history, so it was a good landmark film in that respect

I think that pirates two is set for sometime next year since they shot both films back to back. I don't really care how part three will end as long as Jack Sparrow isn't killed.

Yes, I do mean part three. The only other movie series that was made into a trilogy was the Matrix series and although I did like all three movies, I didn't like the fact that both Neo and Trinity were killed in the movie. Although the war had ended and Morpehous was very happy, he had lost both of his best and only troops. I hope the same doesn't happen for pirates. I don't care if Davy Jones is killed, but I really want Jack to live as well as Will and Elizabeth because if any of the three main characters were killed, the audience would have different reactions to the movie in general.

Pirates 2 looks like it will surpass Lord of the Rings 3 and only Titanic will then be higher Box Office internationally...

Um, no. I felt it could have been longer as the movie just zipped by quite quickly. Same with King Kong. Well, sort of. It should have been 10 mins longer on the island and 5 minutes shorter in NYC.

I thought the ending just went on and on, the first half of the movie could have been 30 minutes longer and the battles at the end 30 minutes shorter and I would have been all thumbs up for this.
King Kong I've had for a long time but have still yet to watch it - I was a little disappointed after the LOTR trilogy that there was no DTS:ES track on King Kong, even if it meant splitting up the movie to 2 discs.
My favourite long movie is Dances With Wolves at 236 minutes; I wouldn't cut a second of it.

Pirates could beat out Titanic, but I wouldn't bet money on it.

Agreed on LOTR, I was bored by Two Towers and Return of the King.

But I did dig King Kong and so I recommend that one. Have tissues ready at the end of course

I wish. Titanic does not deserve even half the money it made, but that is what you get when you have lonely girls needing a nice dream ****.
