This makes me happy I'm generally quite easy to please when it comes to audio unless something is horrifically messed up.

Visually it really does work very well doesn't it? the master is a lot better but the HDR does I think help a lot in terms of making the shift from the everyday world to the Baits motel that much clearer.

I just received the 4K Hitchcock Collection from Amazon tonight and before I even opened it, I went on and found the form for the replacement disc and did it that way.

I instantly got the email with my information repeated to me - very generic.

Received my German replacement discs today:



Just checked the BD and can confirm proper mono. Mind you that I only checked the lamp sounds being gone in the Mrs on the chair scene, which was my point of reference before as well. 4K doesn't work yet and will have to check via player.

I also received the German replacement discs today.

Both the UHD and the Blu-ray contain the corrected audio track.

Well I just got this reply from Universal UK

Dear Customer,
Thank you for your e-mail. Our manufactures are currently making the new discs for Psycho with mono audio and as we have your postal details we will ensure you are sent a new discs. We are unable to start sending discs out yet as we have had to wait longer than anticipated for a corrected master but we can confirm a new version will be sent out to you as soon as possible. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

I'm glad someone is getting replies.

The other day this week I sent another email and submitted the request through the site, pointing out this is now the 4th time since the replacement program started that I have tried to submit my request through the site and email and not heard anything back at all.

Still nothing...
