Released in the Hitchcock 4-Movie set and as a Best Buy Steelbook on September 8, 2020, Psycho (1960) will have a individual 4K UHD release on May 25.

To that end, a replacement program is being established in the U.S. and Canada to ensure that those who have purchased this recent release of Psycho on Blu-ray or 4K UHD receive a corrected disc. To receive an updated Psycho disc, please visit the UPHE Support website (https://www.uphe.com/contact-support) or directly email USHEConsumerRelations@visionmediamgmt.com.”

They will request pic of receipt and/or discs/set. Also mention if you want both 4K and BD replacements for you 4K sets.

Disc with downmixed mono track: 1132996 on label
Disc with original mono track: 1150224 and Not Rated on label*
*note: initial batch of 1150224 labeled replacements still had the downmixed track. Anyone have the inner ring numbers for the corrected disc?

Never been the biggest fan of Psycho but it's growing on me each viewing. And the UHD should just continue that with its uptick in visceral image. Think I'm on record saying I want this individual and Rear Window from the Hitchcocks coming so far

Uncut, don't even bother with the theatrical. Hitchcock only trimmed it because the Catholic league pressured him. Otherwise, even the USwould've had it uncut back in 1960.

Only DTS HD MA mono, don't even bother to include the surround remix or dubs or audio commentary.

Only extra needed: the original theatrical trailer in 1080p at the very least.

That's it.

Hopefully Best Buy will do an exclusive steel for the hitch movies, especially psycho. Do we know what the other hitch titles are yet?
