I’ve already forgotten how much I spent on it. It’s only money.

Overpriced? I think that price for the 3 movies in UHD, plus the remastered bluray and a disc with bonus material, including a beautiful (but impractical) digipack is very cheap.

The collectors box is way too much overpriced. 120€ in France whereas I can get the standard digipack at 40€ in the USA.

The Digipak is a box full of discs. The Time Circuits collector’s box is a love letter to some of the greatest films of the 1980s.

Newspaper inside the box are only pieces of paper. You can literally print them at home by yourself. Same thing for the script.

The box doesn't even have good colors.

The Almanac, post cards and blueprint posters were already available 10 years ago in a Blu-Ray collector's set. This is recycling.

The magnet and the Gibson pick are good but is it worth 120€ ? Of course no.

Gosh. You probably better not buy it then, huh?

I'm always horrible with these. I bought a 4 disc bluray case for the 3 UHD discs in the set (so that I could house the discs in there and not in the sleeves). Does anyone know where I can find custom artwork for the BttF trilogy to print out that would fit a 4 disc bluray case?

Well, my beloved, can’t-remember-the-last-time-I-was-this-excited-about-a-release Time Circuits Collector’s Box finally arrived and, of course, because it’s 2020, it arrived with a harsh smash to the bottom right corner of that exquisite front. Part of me is devastated. Such a beautiful display piece ruined because Amazon can’t package a goddamn thing worth a shit, no matter how much coin a customer drops on it, or how big the word “COLLECTOR” appears on the front. But the other part of me is well aware of the dozens, maybe hundreds—hell, in time, maybe thousands—of fans who did not, or never will, have a chance at getting any copy of this ultra rare edition. This is a very bittersweet moment for me.

Finally got around to watching these. I didn't grow up with Back to the Future. I think I was just a hare bit too young and I think because of Family Ties (which I did watch as a kid) tainted my perception of Michael J. Fox. I just didn't buy him in a leading role and had no interest in the movies.

As an adult, I've seen them several times now and definitely understand what I missed out on but they aren't burned in my memory either. It's probably been at least 10 years since I've seen them so it was fun watching them again on 4K.

The first movie is timeless. It's literally a perfect movie. I can find no faults with it and as I get older, the more I appreciate it. Part 2 felt a little goofy this time around but I really admire its incredible use of editing and it's a fun and satisfying movie. Mostly due to how great of an acting job of Thomas Wilson as Biff. It has a little too much going on and doesn't have much room to breathe but again, still entertaining.

Part 3, I remember seeing the trailers for it and thinking it looked terrible. Old West stuff was not appealing one bit as a kid. It seemed boring and never interested me. As an adult, I feel the opposite. As an adult, you can appreciate a simpler time and can understand now why it's romanticized. While I do feel it's still the "worst" of the 3, it's very competent and enjoyable. I don't like the ending but at least Doc gets a full story arc.

As for the UHDs, I thought they were fantastic. I haven't looked much at reviews or opinions, but I was really impressed. While not demo worthy, they are still big upgrades and the HDR makes a big difference and is very noticeable. Colors pop and the night time scenes feel like night time. 3 cleans up the best and looked really nice throughout. The Atmos soundtrack is fantastic on all 3 and it's like watching them for the first time.

These were fun to revisit and maybe, just maybe, this is the last time I'll be buying them. Strange feeling...

I wish the steelbook set wasn't $32 more at Best Buy. What a rip off.

mattFoley a **very** long time a go there was a scandal because of obvious bad framing that choped bits off, that has been corrected. Ask me if you can't find any thing about it
