Is there any point to redeeming the digital copy code if I've already redeemed codes from the individual seasons on Blu-ray? These aren't even redeeming in 4K, correct?

Yeah, but in fairness, they've been able to replace individual discs from a box set for me before. I just chalked up their lack of a (timely) response to the pandemic.

Only redeems in hd, and cannot be used with movies anywhere or itunes.

Your loss. While it sucks to replace a few discs (so far one for me), it still looks and sounds incredible.

Considering how much content is here, some beta replication issues seems pretty small.

Again does it suck yes, can you easily remedy the situation in a timely manner absolutely.

I knew there was going to be a messed up disc or 2 even though i bought mine from bullmoose but this is still the biggest and only complete 4k box set of a show ever in 4k. Well worth it even though season 7 and 8 were meh the journey of rewatching is worth it .

So anxious to get this, but too expensive. Going to wait it out. I bet it will be on sale by next Black Friday. If only the digital code could be redeemed in 4K so I could sell it.

I am through Season 4 and have had 2 momentary freezes in Season 2 (Episodes 7 and 9). Each lasted about 5 seconds and are not worth returning it to try and get a batter set. Yeah its frustrating, but other than that this is absolutely worth every single penny. It is visually gorgeous and the Atmos track is fantastic. Like any release there will be naysayers and they tend to be the vocal majority.

Are there separate bonus disks or are they now on the episode disks?

S1-6: 4 discs per season, 3 episodes per disc for the first three, 1 episode + non-commentary extras on the fourth
S7-8: 3 discs per season
-- S7: 3 episodes per disc for the first two, 1 episode + non-commentary extras on the third
-- S8: 3 episodes for the first disc, 2 episodes for the second disc, 1 episode + non-commentary extras on the third

Is anyone else having any major problems with the season 8 discs? Many of the blacks are showing up as purple in episodes 3-6 no matter my tv settings.

Just finished season 5 after a 3 week delay waiting for Yamaha to fix or replace my 5100 preamp, after so much delay they upgraded me to a 5200, which has even better Atmos sound quality.. excuse to start the show again when finished!

Anyway, that’s also given me time to catch up on the books, I’m just starting the latest one, which is right around where I am in the show(some storylines are further along in one than the other).. I think George RR Martin himself ain’t all that great at timelines. Sansa is STILL 13 years old in the books.. so the entire story takes place within a year by that logic. Including Danaery’s entire timeline.

It only redeems in HD?!? That is crap. How and how much would it be if one wants 4K digital through iTunes or Vudu? I can’t remember how, but I bought the HD set S1-7 and I currently have it on both iTunes AND Vudu. HBO Max is only HD too.

TV shows don’t redeem 4K, never have. Any “digital locker” services don’t stream redeemed TV in 4K either. Only subscription streaming services like Netflix stream shows in 4K, and HBO doesn’t do that yet. Seems like they’re saving 4K HDR for the upcoming “theatrical” releases.

iTunes and Vudu don't have TV of any kind in 4K. Your complaint should be with them first before Warners not offering what doesn't exist yet.
