Since this thread was started in 2013, the movie landscape has changed somewhat with the emergence of streaming services. I subscribe to Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, HBOmax, and Netflix, and I have noticed that sometimes movies and shows have options for a wide variety of languages, including Portuguese. It's not all movies, and the options can be inconsistent, but I hope this is a trend that continues. There's really no reason for streaming services to not include a lot of language options, since the work has already been done, and streaming subscribers speak all different kinds of languages, even within the borders of a single country; particularly the US.
