Aaaarghh I can't take the slipcover off of my copy of Magdalena - seems to be glued to the case. Hey Dave if I manage to get this sucker off and it gets damaged can you send me another slip?

Magdalena arrived today, and the Slipcover was damaged.

It was just packed in a small bubble mailer with no protection or extra bubblewrap. On previous orders there was always good extra protection when Slipcovers were included.

Hopefully I can get a replacement...

Hey if it got damaged we will send you a replacement. These custom slipcovers look really nice but like anything custom can be very temperamental. Let us know.

Another huge pitfall with these custom made slipcovers...surviving the shipping transit with the post office. Every time we see how they handle packages in there we cringe. And if one of these slips gets the slightest little dent or crease the customer can request a replacement. Understandable as the true collectors want them to be pristine. Another big deterring factor for why we only do these for a very small number of the releases. But yes we will definitely send you out a replacement Katatonia.

I got the slipcover off - the problem was the case. It's slightly thicker than your usual cases. It was tight like a mofo

I swapped cases so it would fit. Thanks

Curious thing about the slip - the glow-in-the-dark silhouette seems like it'll peel off or something. There's a small air pocket in the lower left corner and a slightly raised portion. I hope it stays intact because I like that slip!

Mine was mint, but I also noticed the lack of extra protection Dark Force usually puts in.

Just received my copy and it has the same issue as yours but even more so. There are air pockets around the entire edges of the slipcover that have the glow in the dark parts, so across the entire bottom and then both the left and right sides.

My slipcover is exactly the same as you described yours, along both sides and the bottom. Is that what they are, air pockets? I originally thought it was just an overflow of the glow in the dark.

Gaah! My order from 3/3 hasn't even shipped yet so I can't even have the fun of trying to get a slip off let alone watching the actual movie. For those of you that have, how does Magdelena look???

One of the corners just came off from when I touched it. That corner no longer glows in the dark. All I did was pick it up.

Just checked my slip and they are indeed air pockets. I also noticed that the glow doesn't work next to the air pockets on the outer side and bottom of the slip.
