I mean people are sliding more and more towards Mac, this might be a move that would push people considering a new computer to head to the Mac side of the fence.

Yeah, Apple would be served FAR more purchasing some of the smaller developers and getting them to go Mac only.

Or, if they made the iConsole. *LOL*

If Apple really wants to make a statement, they should get Starcraft II to be Mac exclusive.

Apples would become the number one computer for Korea after that.

actually as soon as jaded mentioned exclusive. i thought to myself, the ultimate exclusive buy would be buy up blizzard.

Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter is highly skeptical of such talk, however. "Sounds retarded to me," he tells Gamasutra.

"Apple could buy Warner Music for around $3 billion, and control 20 percent of all recorded music," he says. "That makes more sense to their current business model than buying EA for more than twice that, doesn't it?"

"I don't want to start a rumor, but want to point out that Apple doesn't own any entertainment content," adds the analyst, "so I don't know why they would feel compelled to enter a new business unrelated to their current product slate."

Serious. There's a huge market there with everyone itching for D3 and SC2. SC2 alone will sell massive amounts of computers.

I still have a feeling D3 will go console.
