Exactly. There's no filter. It was shot on 35mm. I guess some people forgot what actual film looks like.

There no such thing as a uniform look of "actual film". Then there's lots of cgi which can mess up that "actual film".

Plus, the 35mm shots, which comprise the bulk of the film, are 2k upconverts. The IMAX sequences was the only footage mastered in 4k. They put the 4k upscales and the IMAX 4k stuff together.

Personally, I was happy to see Connie Neilsen & Robin Wright as Hippolyta and Antiope again but after about five minutes I grew tired of the scene, and that set the tone with me for the rest of the movie.

It was just a slog to get through.

It's ten minutes longer than it's predecessor, but I never grew tired of the one from 2017.

I've got the steelbook on the way, but I think it will just be for collecting purposes. No desire to watch this again

Film has grain inherent to the process. I don't know what that dude is on about, but he sounds like a blithering fool

I wonder, if the third one is really good and doesn’t connect to this one, maybe I can just consider Zack’s JL as her second film.

Hoping the third movie will begin with her missing Themyscira, or trying to get home. Clearly what ZS Justice League was pointing towards. They don't even need to explain about her mother's message and the arrow etc (but would be nice if they did).

I am praying this is the story of Wonder Woman 3. Figure out a way to add Barbara to the mix and I’m there. It brings back the Amazons, which many people want to see more of. I mean, Zack Snyder set up Patty Jenkins perfectly for a contemporary Wonder Woman third film that could absolutely be the best one yet.

Wasn't aware of this being supposed to have poor pq, but I also disagree. Saw nothing wrong with the pq when I watched this.

There were 2 or so scenes where I thought it looks a tad sharpened, but I couldn't really tell when checking one of those again later and didn't remember the other place.

Anyway, I don't have many, but I still have 4 handy (from actually two weeks ago):

Looked/looks perfectly fine to me. I saw/see no filtering - not in general at any rate. I can see some chroma on #2 (on the cap that is), but didn't spot any when actually watching this. I won't participate in "reference" debates, but it's by no means poor quality.

Yes it is. It's longer. Imagine having to endure another almost half an hour of Batman & Robin. That's Wonder Woman 1984.

I’d be all for that if it was Poison Ivy having a lonely wine only dinner.

If you were really in Wonder Woman 2017 (and 3rd act aside, I was) I don't how you can enjoy this movie. The tonal shift is whiplash-inducing. It blows my mind it's the same director. The screenwriters really are the most important people in Hollywood.
