I'm wondering what the audio track will be , there has never been a good version on dvd that I could find. This being shot in 1983 , I wonder just how many channels of audio were used in the filming ?
Great movie , I probably will buy it anyway.

Is it a direct port of the old Sony disc? It's hard to imagine Medium Rare stumping up for a new transfer, but does it keep all the extras?

I received this yesterday, it has better audio as it's now DTS MA 5.1. Has all the extras, same old transfer. But looking on rewind comparisons I think it's missing the "Thank You", when McDowell is told to stand down. Not 100% on that.

It's fairly consistently 28-30

It still frustrates me that I have to fill this in EACH and EVERY TIME in my best Malcolm Mcdowell voice.

So I get the original UK Sony release for like a quid, and think oh great! A rare Blu-ray. Year's go by, and now I discover it's a rare coaster. Thanks Chips.

I don’t think a DTS MA 5.1 track will necessarily be any better than the old Dolby TrueHD 5.1 track, they both should be lossless and identical to the master audio track, unless I’m mistaken?

Was that really Cochrane who said "Thank you....." when he takes off? I always thought it was the control tower guy since this would be the second time that day that a helicopter took off without authorization.
