Which brings me to my next question. Do you think SF will offer two different sets for NOES? one that offers FvsJ and one that doesn't since some people might not want to double dip on that film?
No they will not manufacture two sets with and without. Horrible businesss decision and waste of money.

They know damn well people are buying it regardless if they end up with 2 copies of FVJ.

As much as I agree that SF probably wouldn't bother manufacturing two sets, could you elaborate more on the "Horrible businesss decision and waste of money" because it really wouldn't cost them anything more then manufacturing two different size boxes and it would also close the % gape on the buyers that wouldn't get the new set because of the double dip on FvsJ!

I just hope any NOES set includes the complete series of Freddy’s Nightmares.

Its inclusion would absolutely mean a higher cost for the set, so I hope it doesn't. I have no problem with a separate release, but don't make me pay for 2 seasons of a series I don't want to own.

I think he meant the opposite. Plenty of people in the nation did not buy F13 set and might want the NOES. To punish them by not giving them a complete set in a complete collection would be dumb. To make 2 sets would cost more and not worth the hassle. Could you imagine the complaining when so and so got the wrong version and then have to deal with returns and exchanges.

Temporary thing. Unfortunately there was a mistake in the manufacturing build due to a new transition team. We've addressed it and should be corrected starting with June's releases and going forward.

I get what your trying to say and trust me I don't think this will ever happen, I'm only pointing out that the reasons people are saying (cost) are minimal at best!

First nobody would be getting punished, for the people that "did not buy F13 set and might want the NOES" they would buy the NOES set with FvsJ, the second set (which could even be a limited run) would only be missing FvsJ for the collectors who wouldn't want another copy of the same film because they already have the F13 set. If they wanted to have the complete NOES set with FvsJ, that would be fine, nothing would prevent them from doing so.....

"To make 2 sets would cost more and not worth the hassle." Like I said in my last post the only difference in cost would be the different sizing of the boxes (which are pennies compared to other cost) on top of that SF would be paying less disc copies for FvsJ and if they made it a limited set then the cost would be minimal at best....

"Could you imagine the complaining when so and so got the wrong version and then have to deal with returns and exchanges." Welcome to Scream Factory! Regardless of what they plan with the sets, people are going to make mistakes (order the wrong set, accidentally buy more then one, etc.) SF is always prepared for stuff like that, Replacement Programs are their for a reason

Target Shipped out my copies of He Knows Your Alone and Eyes of a Stranger yesterday as well. These were the last 2 I had waiting from the B2G1 sale a few months back. King Kong arrived (also from that sale) this last week).

No, I believe they will give FvsJ the remaster and extras the F13 set did not. Which would definitely be the incentive to double dip (or quadruple dip, in most our cases.)

Please just stop. You have less than zero understanding of how the business works, but continue to try to speak with authority. You're saying manufacturing an entirely new (hypothetical), slightly smaller set would cost "pennies" compared to "other" costs(?). Show us the quotes you received from the manufacturer.

Otherwise, please stop manufacturing manure in this thread. Make-believe can be fun, but you seem to insist on this being a possibility in the real world, based on nothing but unfounded ideas from your own imagination. Really, please stop. You're living in a fantasy world with zero understanding of business or money.

How likely do you think we will get a Nightmare on Elm Street set from SF this year?

On a Scale of "Not Happening" to "It's a Sure thing" I'd put it at a "Not Likely".

If this is necessary, I have no doubt Scream Factory will make the replacement discs available in a timely manner, as they always do. Unlike other companies who make mistakes but refuse to admit it/take a very long time to correct it.

Here’s hoping one of those remastered steels is Dog Soldiers. Besides the new transfer that we desperately need, I bet the artwork would be sick.
