yes it would, it is also a good/bad thing to dream. for dreams is an escape of reality. unfortunately transformers the movie on HDDVD will do well. the only thing left to do is just ignore it being a BD supporter, and also continue buying BD products.

Would you say that Transformers was bigger than 300? Does anybody know this? Did Transformers outsell 300 at the box office? I'm just trying to get an Idea of how well Transformers will do on HD-DVD.

transformers difinitely beat 300 and by the way its also it beat spiderman 1 box office record and becuase of transoformers and shrek 3 were the reason paramount was the only studio this year to gain the most profit. around 1.5 billion dollars. however i still believe BD with the combinations of sony, fox and disney and not to forget warner bros. will definitely contribute to BD winning the war at the end.

at the end the only reason transformers did better than 300 was because it was released during summer, which is a known fact that films released during summer is when box office records will get smashed. I bet you 300 would have done better with a pg13 rating and a july 3 release. then you would see a difference.

I'll make a small wager with you that both Spiderman 3 and 300 (individually)on BD outsell Transformers HDDVD

now that is more acceptable. If it is spidey 3 and 300 VS. transformers alone, BD would definitely win. without questions.

No I'm saying, I bet either one of those BD titles will have larger sales figures than the Transformers HDDVD.

My theory:
Just that the userbase is too much bigger on BD with the ps3 and all.

I gotta correct you. Transformers did not out gross spider-man 1. What "record" are you referring to?

this is a debatable topic, I actually don't know if either BD titles would or not beat transformers. But i am waiting to see. hopefully, if people are smart enough they wouldn't buy transformers on HDDVD. they should just until a better version of the movie comes out on BD.
