This was a merger not a real sale. AT&t retains some ownership and debt. They already went to comcast there was no deal done.

The only reason those studios were not sold before is that the price was to high. AT&T would have dropped more if their prices were met.

They maybe forced to sell assets this time.

I have a source that told me WB actually lost, I believe, $10 million on the Snyder cut, which is one of the reasons why the current CEO of WB will be leaving soon. He wasn't even aware about AT&T selling off WB and he's already lawyering up. What a mess. This is exactly why they are never going to restore the Snyderverse.

With all that has happened with Warner and Snyder, it appears that is was a mistake for both parties. A mistake that has lost revenue and people their jobs.

I remember a time where WB was getting shit for not taking more risks with their DC properties. I was one of those people as well, but now I think I'm starting to regret it. Even though I do like some of the DCEU movies.

Risk is fine and good, but you still need some kind of cohesive vision.

Even with these movies the directors and writers could not follow the same path. They have the illusion of cohesion where there was none.

Seems like only one person knew the plan, and was not sharing it with anyone else.

Things like how old is Wonder Woman and when did she leave the island, should be something known up front.

Risk and having something to lose should be stuff like Joker, The Authority, Wild C.A.T.s. etc.
