Australia Casablanca - regular blu ray packaging -released in Aus

No fancy box, just a straight blu ray case. Not sure if it includes ALL the extras yet though. And it's cheap:

I'm sure it will have all the extras. Too bad...I just placed an order from Australia.

I want Casablanca, but the collector's set us too expensive. I just want to enjoy the movie, and a regular edition would be perfect for me.

Hope we'll get one here in the US also. Don't care for all the bells and whistles just the movie.

Question Calling all Aussies...

Hi all,

Discovered that this was Region Free (http://bluray.liesinc.net/index.php?region=b) and I'm looking to buy.

Are the 2 links posted on this thread to purchase the best places to buy and is shipping expensive to the U.S.?

Any information/feedback about purchasing from Australia would be appreciated, thanks!

Edit: Actually, that looks to be the New Zealand release that's Region Free. Can someone confirm that the Australian is Region Free? Thanks.

I would think that if every Warner title in the US is region free, it means the same for titles released in other countries.
And if the Dutch version is anything to go by, the Australian version is missing the documentary on Jack L. Warner. The rest is intact.

The French release is the same one as the US version, region free and without all the extra stuff you can find one the US collector release:

I agree with you, but I got the US set as a Christmas gift, so I can't complain...

I know about the French, but it's too expensive. Can anyone give me some feedback on ordering from Australian vendors from the U.S. and cost of shipping to U.S.? Thanks.

Are you mocking me? Isn't that because you got the 5 Blu-rays for 50 Euros deal on Amazon France?

To buy it alone, it's $37.00 w/ shipping Amazon.fr.

Why would I mock you over something so trivial?

You could just as easily do the same thing I did...set up a group buy. There are more than enough people interested. Also, even if I DIDN'T get enough people, these would easily get $20 (at the very least) on ebay. I was thinking of doing another order and just re-selling them.

Sorry, you're first comment was just over-simplified.

Yeah, I thought of this too, but I just don't think I have the time to do this... call me lazy!

You could always use the other 4 for trades. You have a wealth of options.
