Those songs aren't licensed infinitely.

It's music most of the time, but sometimes the rights are questioned by other entities and in some cases when the film is based on a book or play, the writer or their estates block the release of the film, hence Darker Than Amber, House of Cards...

In total, I think there are 6 titles previously released on Blu-ray. Two from the 60s, one 80s, one 90s and both titles from the 2000s.

Interesting that there's 2 from the 60s, given that Hitchcock films seem unlikely, the Insider has previously ruled out Kirk Douglas and has also previously said Fahrenheit 451 is with another label.

I think the Insider said they have a Howard Hawks film in the deal, so if it's not Scarface, Man's Favorite Sport? looks like the only candidate.

The realistic(ish) possibilities as I make it (the Insider didn't suggest any Don Knotts films were part of the deal):

The news that one 80s was previously released on Blu-ray means that Kino cannot have both Cloak and Dagger and Renegades (if they have either of these at all).

Indeed, unless Kino have The Lonely Guy, I'd say it's almost certain the previously on Blu-ray title comes from 1989, and should be one of the following:

K-9
Parenthood
Uncle Buck
Sea of Love
Born on the Fourth of July

I suspect that the 1984 film will be Mass Appeal, not Cloak and Dagger.
