A good question. I own the H3 steelbook but I want H2 as well for the 4K scan. I'm worried about paying a premium on eBay just for them to announce the 4K release soon after. They seem to be doing a lot of the Carpenter films so I feel like they could be on the way. Does anyone know if they still retain the rights to H2 and H3?

The Halloween 2 steelbook became available to order on Amazon at least two times in the last month or so. I ordered it then, and I got my copy last week. It was $21.99.

Edit: it is still available to order on Amazon but at $29.99. Worth a try if you really want it

My assumption is yes, they might get announced at the same time as their Army Of Of Darkness UHD release. I also smell they will release a The Thing Collector's Edition UHD sometime after Universal releases their UHD SteelBook.

Oh shoot! I almost bit on this for $40 on Ebay couple weeks back and waited too long and lost it, and now I can get it for $22 but knowing there is a UHD coming soon!? Decisions decisions....
