Not sure which movie was the first one I saw at the theaters, but the first movie I "remember" seeing there was Encino Man.

I think my first theatrical movie was Star Trek: The Motion Picture (what was that '78? '79?). I would have been around 4 or 5 years old at the time, which when I first thought about it was weird. I had a hard time imagining that I would at least be enthralled with a movie at that age, but then I look at my 5 year old nephew and he seems to be pretty movie savvy (well... at least as far as Transformers goes anyways).

However, I do clearly remember the image of V'Ger, leaving the earth at the end of the movie and the iconic "sun/earth rise" image with the Enterprise above it.

Wow that was a long time ago. I believe I was 5 and they rereleased Star Wars in the theater by me and my mom took me.

Mine was June 2004 lol, I was 15. I went to see Spider-Man 2 at the AMC theater. What an experience that was!
