Actually I don't even like the Jumanji movies but the price was good and I wanted to support Random Space Media in the hopes they will release more of the movies I do want to buy.

Yeah, I've had Welcome to the Jungle for years and never watched it. I imported 2, one for me and one for my brother, did the same with this release.

I may open it and watch tonight in anticipation for this one. I've never seen a Jumanji movie, will i be lost if I don't watch the Robin Williams film?

Nope, you'll be fine. It's pretty much a reboot. It's a fun time and turned out much better than I was expecting.

Actually 'Welcome to the Jungle' is a sequel to the 1995 Jumanji film. So I suggest you watch the 1995 Jumanji film before WTTJ.

I know they call it a "Sequel" but you could go into it without feeling like you missed something or feeling lost in the storyline. Other than 2 certain nods it's really a whole new take.

But def. doesn't hurt to see the original as it's fun too.

Yeah, but it's explained how the board game ends up on the beach in the 1995 film and WTTJ picks up from there, which is why WTTJ is a sequel.

Probably. Unless the adjustment is the opposite direction to tsmuxer, in which case it'd be 1000ms then. But when I was testing unshifted in mpchc I set it to -1000 there too.

Is there any reason why these disc can't have the atmos/dtsx from the theatre versions or 4k discs if the studios had no intention of releasing discs in the first place .we don't even get the 7.1 most of the time.most of these are not long films and don't have special features on them .the whole thing about blu ray in the first place was cinema picture theater sound it was on the back of the covers at one point and they backed away from that along time ago we don't even get the mono most times on older films .that was their marketing not ours.I will still buy anything they release we should not need to do this ourselves though.

just an fyi, all Sony produced movies are 5.1 only including the atmos mix even in the theaters, yeah i know

On Facebook they are reporting that they have sent all pre-orders. However, there is an error in sending the confirmation emails. They ask to get in touch if they don't receive the email, which they will resend again with the shipping details. Go to their face page or their website for customer service. It was like that with me and they soon responded.

Crikeys mate I posted the bdinfo report on the disc above. I'll be watching it in my after lunch matinee as a double feature and I'll report then. I'm not on anyone's timeline other than mine. And someone posted a photo of theirs.
