I'm sure it be 10-12 days --likely twice. I'm not sure I've had any package with std shipping get to or from AUS in less than 3 weeks in the last 9 months.

Even pre-Covid, shipping times from Sanity varied from 10-14 days average and JBHiFi 12-30 days with some longer.

Doesn’t Sanity ship via regular Australia Post? I don’t believe they use DHL. My experiences with DHL have been quite good. I have received packages from Amazon UK via DHL in less than 24 hours after shipping.

This will be my first experience with DHL’s “eCommerce” service, but it looks like the only difference is that USPS (rather than DHL) handles the “last mile” logistics and delivery once the package enters the United States.

There's DHL and there's DHL. The courier stuff fine but all my orders from several places in Germany come DHL and it ends up untrackable.and slow.

I contacted them 3 days ago about not getting any confirmation or tracking and they haven't replied yet. It seems like they are backed up so not bothered by it although I would like to get the tracking number because I've been having a problem with packages in my building getting stolen. I'm trying to get a PO box but so far I've only been able to get on a waiting list - none are available near me.

Anyway, they're doing better than Arrow on that front. I still haven't gotten a Donnie Darko 4K replacement e-mail.

I got a shipping confirmation at 3 am today but it says there’s no tracking number. I wonder if they just sent it airmail as I doubt they can get it tracked to Canada for $10 AUS. I really don’t care frankly, just an FYI if others get a confirmation without tracking and wonder if they’re alone

The tracking link provided by email informs you that 2 hours ago you left the Sydney facility.

DHL Economy is quite different than DHL Express that have been most of my DHL packages from UK/EU. I've had a couple DHL standard packages from Germany that took a couple weeks. It it arrives in less than 2 weeks I'll be impressed, if it's less than a week I'll be happily shocked for everyone, but even a couple personal AUS packages using normal 1 week service have taken triple that for me lately

Since this is a 1st trial run with RandomSpace there's just no way to really outguess what's coming or exactly how long it would take. I thought for sure I'd seen a 2 wk estimate on international shipping from RandomSpace somewhere but it could easily have been a different site.

On my impression, the 3d is solid and natural, and really made me enjoy it way more than when I saw it 4k last time. I don't like the story as much as the prior, but I actually enjoyed it this time. No pop outs but just solid natural 3d. Some scenes and shot were incredible for just conveying 3d reality? The role bridge stuff was great, but even like some simple shots on the mountain in the snow first time they are there just looked so good.
What is the Lumagen doing for the 3D video? I thought Lumagen was primarily for hdr.

This is definitely trackable. If you didn't get a tracking number, I would try emailing them again, or messaging them on facebook.

Ordered mine today and got a shipping update not even an hour later (order number 1086). Thank you Random Space Media!!

Also, I agree with all of the suggestions everyone has said so far (especially Bumblebee), but my #1 top wish is They Shall Not Grow Old. I was devastated when that one didn’t get a 3D Blu-ray.

Edit: emailed Random Space about They Shall Not Grow Old. I’ll be happy to see any more previously unreleased titles though!

The fact they made a Facebook survey asking what people would like to see them release in 3D is incredibly exciting. You’d have to think that means they know they can release other unreleased titles in 3D and want to know where to start. I guess the other option is they can release special editions of movies already on disc but I don’t want to believe that

FYI: The Randomspace-Media team kindly sent me the following information for European destinations:

Quote:
Please be aware there is currently no tracking number for your order as all our European orders are in transit to our freight forwarder in the UK.

Once your order leaves the UK there will be a tracking number available to you.

Definitely plan on doing this myself; however, I also find myself wondering if the decision whether or not to include Dolby Atmos or DTS:X is left up to the studio or if a licensing company like Random Space Media had a choice in it. If it's the latter and the future should open up additional titles for purchase, I would definitely say that I would love to see that added and I'm clearly not alone. Doesn't quite seem fair that only the 4K releases carry these audio formats when we are clearly already paying a premium on whatever discs are released today.
