Probably matching Walmart’s in store price for all Non-Sony games. But thanks to Target doing that I can use the $15 promo credit I had and get this for $37 on Day 1 to continue piling on my recent backlog…

It's becoming an addiction, like me in the early days of Blu-ray.

Didn't think of that, but possibly. If I had a promo credit like that too, I might have bought it too, but it's still probably for the best given what I have to play in the meantime.

Got this in the mail yesterday and quickly played through the tutorial. I'll play more of it on my days off this week. The game seems right up my alley, I'm excited to give it a go.

Bought it yesterday (for the Series X, no PS5 yet). Might start it after work or tomorrow since I am off.

10 hours into the game and I've had to turn it off and restart the PS5 three times. Twice where cutscenes wouldn't load and then R2 in combat wouldn't work at all. Both seem to be fairly common bugs after looking around online. Hopefully a patch will fix this in the near future.

That’s why I don’t play games immediately except on rare occasions. Though I hate it when there are times when a bug makes the game better but the company patches it out because of it being a bug.

Pretty bad for a PS2 game.

I'm enjoying it for what it is. It's a good game to play in between waiting for something new, like Ghost of Ikishima next month. I'm not sure if I'll play both paths or not yet.

Platinum’d the game yesterday.

I really enjoyed it and think the gameplay is fantastic, probably some of my favorite action RPG combat. I really enjoyed almost every one of the main characters (except Shiden and Tsugumi) which is usually a tall order for such large casts. The story is pretty standard fair for the genre, nothing ground breaking or anything but it works mostly.

I do think the clarity of the story suffered a little from being split into two unique paths. I would have preferred they bounce you back and forth between the two main characters for a while since
[Show spoiler]once you get to Chapter 9 the story is identical anyway.
it would have felt more natural that way in my opinion.

Its also a gorgeous game, I love the art style. I just wish the pop in was not so awful, its shockingly bad for a PS5 version of a game.

I’d say it is personally for RPG/JRPG fans.
