Seven doesn't connect with me for some reason. The performances aren't that great... There isn't much interesting about Freeman and Pitt's characters.
No matter what the movie shows me it rarely gets a reaction out of me. It's a bit too cold for its own good. IMO. I prefer Silence of the Lambs. I guess it helps that Hopkins, Foster and Scott Glenn and the rest of the cast are just better than what we get with Seven. As for Resurrection... Maybe my opinion of a movie I last saw 20 years ago will be different now. Who knows? But I can only base my opinion of the movie on my viewing of it then.
