You still haven't explained what you mean. We're trying to figure out what you mean by making those posts, but it would be so much easier if you just explain.

Although I thought the Gatherer was shooting plasma bursts at the cars as they would try to escape (early developmental stages).

Out of all the terminators this would probably be the least liked one to me.

I did like it tho..good action.

Didnt the resistance use dogs to help them? Like the dogs had a sense of where the terminators were at.

And it sure seemed like it was easy to defeat the terminators and the giant robots and the motorcycles. The resistance i thought was suppose to be a group of soldiers like in the movie aliens....But it seems they cant remake a movie like that with all this new high tech stuff out now these days.

Arnold coming out at the end was cool..wouldve been better if he had some lines...

I dunno..just seemed like in the older movies just one terminator was good enough...but in this one the terminators was so easy to beat.
I liked the terminator from T2 the best tho...I think T2 is the best terminator out.

wheres your justification for thinking its a plot hole?
do you want them take your hand and lead you through every little thing that connor should remember?
do you want them to tell you each thing he is thinking?
how would he NOT remember it?

The dogs helped them sniff out the terminators that had human skin on them. Since Skynet wasn't there yet, they obviously don't need the dogs...yet.

Remember how
[Show spoiler]badass the Arnold Terminator was at the end of the movie? That was the machine's first advanced Terminator. All the others were rudimentary. Reese talks about this in T1 in describing the Terminators that came before the one's that had flesh. These were slower Terminators. Not as effective.

i think if one of the resistance members didn't see the metal skeleton walking down the road and know it was a terminator, then that guy shouldn't be part of the resistance

Maybe i missed it but how do they time travel?
i seen them in the old terminators when they get there...but it never showed how they travel back?????

and when kyle came back in the first terminator other than being put on the spot...he couldve found weapons similar to what he had in salvation..he didnt have anything fancy...But terminator seemed more real than salvation..salvation just seemed like a new age action flick with explosions and bad quotes like..."2 day old coyote...better than 3 day old coyote" LOL.

it was good...just cant top the older ones IMO.

sorry i figured if anyone clicked on a i saw terminator salvation thread they would expect to see spoilers????

And how did they have terminators that were slow and not effective...yet they had the smart motorcycles...the robot snake things...the big space ships...and that big robot that had all the guns and was picking up people??
its like they had less advanced terminators...but highly advanced everything else.

well the motorcycles weren't exactly brilliant, connor tripped one with a rope afterall
they were just quick and can react fast
the snakes weren't that intelligent, jump and bite, jump and bite, jump and bite
the ships basically shot and well shot some more

the harvester was probably the smartest of the machines they had
but look how freaking big it was

i'm assuming it was tough to make the smaller versions (the t-600 and so forth) as smart in a compact frame?

yea, you have to remember skynet is still learning and growing
the T-850 states it grows and learns at a geometric rate, in time it will figure out time travel and lasers and all the stuff from 2029

I loved the film!....just saying..it seemed the resistance had more weapons and was more well trained as a group then i thought they would be..i was thinking just random civilianz and soldiers spread out in hiding...

and like i said...huge robots...huge space ships...the robot snake things....But less advanced terminators? making those skeleton terminators with skin over them should have been easier....the only exception being the guy that was half robot half human.....and he is the only one they made like that to my knowlege.

well thats probably how it was at first, the soldiers and civilians spread out
but after 14 years of fighting i assume the soldiers that were left trained the civilians and everyone became soldiers basically, and the military that was left organized over the course of that decade and a half

marcus was a prototype was he not?
so the info on him is going to lead the way to the skin on the robots like the t-800 i assume

edit: we're not trying to bust your chops btw incase it came across that way, we're just trying to counterpoint your statements

1. People should avoid threads like these until they have seen the movie. If I had read what is here and what I am reading for the most part is the thoughts of people who are die-hards of the Terminator films and hence whose opinion would strongly encourage or discourage a viewing. In this case, reading through the last 60 or so posts, people are not exactly blown away by the movie and if I came here first I would potentially have skipped the film. Instead I went and enjoyed this movie.

2. This will look awesome on blu-ray and I am very happy about that. I hope the audio track is top notch!
