Very tempted to watch the original on the 10th just to watch the trailer for this. The 4K disc comes out a few days later (and they haven’t confirmed the cinema showings will use the new restoration AFAIK; plus it’s excluded from A-List), so I have some apprehension on whether to go.

Has it actually been confirmed the trailer for this will be attached to the October 10 showings of the original? I.e. is it an actual trailer? I see there’s an ‘exclusive look’ but idk if that means a trailer or just a behind-the-scene or such.

I get they want it to be very secretive and kept under wraps. So I wouldn't be surprised if they decide to release a bunch of fake trailers that are entirely misleading with footage that won't even be in the movie.

Also, I'm shocked nobody has shared that you can stay at an Airbnb of the house from the first film hosted by David Arquette himself. Featuring snacks, giveaway prizes, and a chance encounter with Ghostface.

Trailers always give stuff away which is why I avoid them as much as I can. They need to go back to teasers especially for establishment ips! A long trailer isn't going to bring in many more that already know about scream anyway.

Did you like 4? I thought it was better than 2, 3 but it felt out of ideas. Scream was a decent flick but I've never understood the longevity of it especially when it keeps bringing back the same people.

No point in avoiding the trailer if you already know 50 percent of the movie...
Dude, why? Be kind to yourself!! I understand being impatient, I've been tempted to spoil myself too..but this is the first scream movie we've had in ten years! I fear you'll regret ruining your experience in the cinema.

I don't know you personally, maybe it won't change your experience but like...for something you've been waiting for for so long, why ruin the magical experience of seeing the story unfold for the first time when you actually watch the movie?

Scream especially, they're murder mysteries! Please don't ruin it for yourself! And thanks to you and everyone else who puts spoil tags btw, don't be that arse

But I can't handle that Dewey is supposed to die in this. I'm still hoping that spoiler is wrong. Like **** the filmmakers if they do this. I get David Arquette is kind of a joke now and the least valuable of the 3 original cast members, but I don't want to see Dewey die. Or any of them. I'd be perfectly find with all 3 surviving at the end of this movie as well.

I loved 4. Don't come for me but I rewatch it more than the first movie because it's more fun.

But I heard this one "pays homage" to so many scenes in 1 that it doesn't feel like anything new.
