Agreed. No matter how small the issue is they need to fix it and release a disc that is glitch free. Hopefully enough people will make some noise so they'll boot up the replacement program again.

After the mess that was Shout’s replacement program for Friday the 13th discs, I don’t think I want to go through that hassle ever again.

Yeah, it's been proven at this point - the glitch exists on all discs. Those who don't see it are either playing it in DV, their system is covering it up somehow, or they just aren't noticing it.

I will not be trusting Shout with UHD anytime soon after this, especially after seeing how they have dismissed this situation. I don't care how fast the glitch happens, the timing is especially unfortunate, and you'll never unsee it once you've seen it. Every time you watch this again you'll see this glitch going forward, since this is supposed to be the best way to watch it for the foreseeable future.

As it keeps glitching, i dont see how anyone without DV can miss it unless they have their eyes closed.

I find myself satisfied with H1 and H3, and would be with H2 if not for this. I will probably just watch the remastered BD and that’s kind of a shit thing in principle. The BD is the error free version, though it looked like it has weird motion artifacts/smearing, at least as the camera moves on that pink robe.

I watched this twice over the past couple nights, but I keep falling asleep for the finale because of being so tired.

I really like this film and it looks great in 4K. The hot tub kill was just horrible (in a good way)

I think the only part I dont like is when they kill that kid in the Myers outfit.
The cop just plowed into him and then into a van? Was the cop drunk? When I watched this when I was younger i thought that the cop was trying to hit him and kill him. Watching it the other day i realize the cop said he didnt see him and he couldnt stop.

Not to mention the way the kid was reacting to Loomis yelling at him and pointing a gun at him.

Also I get a laugh at the start of the film when Loomis yells to the neighbour to call the police and tell them I shot him!
at the end of the convo, he tells the neighbour "you dont know what death is" and immediately the music kicks in and he looks like he heard a voice and turns and quickly walks away looking around like a wildman . I thought that was pretty absurd and laughable.

I have just bee reading back a few pages and notice the boob pixellation issue. Having carefully watched that scene twice over two days, I can say my disk did not have this issue.

Well I saw this movie late night when my parents were sleeping in 83 or 84. I was 10 or 11 years old. Can’t remember If it was HBO. These were the first breasts I’ve ever seen. If these glitches are happening during these breasts in the hot tub then this must be replaced. They should recall and reissue Halloween II

I do not have the glitch but mine is playing in DV! I agree, Shout, Kino and others need better QC and if they let errors through to release, then fix the issue and offer a replacement for paying customers!

Not sure if this was mentioned but there's an easter egg on the BD. Push the up arrow when "Play" is selected on the main menu and the logo will be highlighted: 30 sec promo for an HBO airing.

It’s happening Arrow and Kino, too. Look at how they have “handled” the errors on Dune and Silence of the Lambs.

I almost guarantee you that all discs have the issue, but when I got the disc and watched the scene I was shocked at how insignificant it actually was; The picture sort of blinks for under a millisecond and I guess that if you run it in super slowmotion you can actually see it lol.

Huge facepalm at people demanding a recall over this nonissue.

Very true. Shouldn't be happening with any label. No excuses. They want the money but are not delivering a glitch free product.

Even more frustrating when they don't even address the issue.

Just because you can ignore it doesn't mean it's a non-issue. It's literally an issue. It's a defect in the picture.

Posts like yours are why Shout is ignoring the demands for a replacement.

So now we're supposed to be okay with all our releases having random glitches now?

Again I will remind people that every disk has this issue.
