are we talking about the steelbook or the disc itself?? they are 2 separates things. I think there's only 1 SteelBook all over the world BUT each country have it's own disc.
Spain and Portugal shares the same disc edition with Portuguese subtitle (maybe along with Italy, Netherland, etc..) It comes with subtitle: Inglés, Castellano, Italiano, Portugués Brasileño, Holandés, Finlandés, Noruego, Portugués, Sueco, Danés, Mexicano.

WTH!!!! I can understand that Portuguese have 2 variations/exceptions Brazilian and European Portuguese, BUT Mexciano language does not exist!!!, Castellano is for Spain and Español is the one for México when it comes to differentiate both languages; at least they put the x an not the j (as used in Spain/Europe).

Who the hell is designing this information!!!

that's really weird. Normally a DVD outside Europe (Region 1, 3) our a blu-ray Region A.. have subtitle portuguese brazilian only. I mean only Europe Countries have true Portuguese.

The weird part is that this Mexican have Portuguese and Brazilian Menu but doesn't have portuguese subtitle

Does this Mexican edition have the anoying sticker on top of the Steel?

These images contradict each other. Apparently the back sticker is way off with the listed subtitles. Oh well, I guess these things happen. I just can't believe the studios and publishers are so ignorant towards the people abroad who actually make purchasing decisions after the facts on the back cover.

It's probably hard for english speaking people to realise how much the subtitles mean for people who have grown up with them. Finnish TV has had subtitles for several decades and even though most of us speak decent english you subconsciously seek the subtitles on the screen. It can affect the movie experience when they are missing although you might be able to follow the movie just fine.

I personally watch movies often without subtitles when alone, but if there are more people the subtitles are a must have. To be honest there are numerous sites where english speaking people concentrate on depating song lyrics and movie lines. Seems like it's sometimes hard for even them to make out what's been said or sang. Naturally for foreign people it's much harder to catch every line as it was intended.

Therefore: BIG THUMBS UP for publishers who release titles with wide range of subtitles and THUMBS DOWN for those who are so ignorant that they leave them out of the labels or even misprint the covers. I would also like to see retailers to go that extra inch further to list these properly on the web-sites. It would make a huge difference for people who are dependant on the retailer description of the title.

I couldn't agree more. The Bullshit Man already made a video about the nonsense publishers put on the backs of DVD cases. It doesn't matter how good my English is, it's won't ever be as good as my native language. If I'm watching an English movie and the actors are mumbling or there's a lot of background noise (I've seen Dark Knight in Edinburgh, Batman being the best example of an inarticulate character) I'm always missing (essential) parts of the movie. So YAY for BluRay's with 20+ subtitles

it's correct.. a lot of studio miswrite the spec of the disc on the back.. wrong subtitle or even wrong audio or picture ratio.
Sometimes, since the disc itself can be imported they even put the wrong disc inside the case.. making it without the local subtitle.. then the customer will complain in the store.
