After doing a test on all 3 of my standalone 4K players I can now see the glitch, it happens so fast on both my Panasonic players UB900 & UB820 that if you blink you will miss it, less that half a second. Now on my Samsung UBD-K8500 its on screen for a little longer but is there

I think all the people not having this issue somehow forget to mention that they are either watching the DV *surprise!* (I'm totally serious) or have poor eyesight (I'm being totally honest).

It really would be nice if all the "I don't see it!" folks could simply state whether they're watching in HDR10 or DV.

I think instead of people bickering back and forth about this, if people really want to get to the bottom of it - start sharing more specific data instead of assuming people are just stupid if they don't see it.

FWIW, here are my findings:

SONY X700 - DolbyVision - Glitch does not exist

SONY X700 - HDR10 - Glitch is there, looks almost like blocky legos for multiple frames

XBOX Series X - HDR10 - Glitch is there, but just looks like several brief shimmers

In any case, that's all I can really share...I have spent way too much time looking at ladies ta ta's for you folks...I need to go wash my eyes out with soap. My TV is going to start to thinking I am straight if I keep up with all this freeze framing of lady parts.

I know that I can be an arrogant prick, but only when I'm pretty damn sure about something. And from my POV, I actually proved this being a FEL DV issue already and I've yet to see any comment convincing me otherwise. Including yours. And I do get annoyed, if people post (sorry) useless "There's no issue!" or "I have no glitch." comments without at least stating whether they are watching the DV (and we even learned already that some are even only watching what's basically MEL DV and therefore have it with DV as well) or HDR10 and/or were actually really looking for it.

While at times even being utterly disrespectful towards those having the issues. (But people tend to tell me I am btw.)

Hence me reacting like I did. If it leads to people making a litle more ****ing detailed statements, it did the job.

I, for one, filed it under meh-DV-issue already anyway. But people denying the issue is an issue.

I didn't check all my options yet, but if you didn't just miss it, I wonder if Oppo actually downconverts the 12 bit FEL.

I've seen the 4K disc through twice in its entirety, and then additionally went back to look for the glitch; only saw it when scanning backward to cue it up again and again... y'know, for science. In my eccentric setup, the glitch is definitely not there.
